The wineries take advantage of their wide-open grounds with breathtaking views by hosting entertaining events and unique wine tasting experiences. The Four Graces winery kicked off their summer concert series in June, and it will continue until September. Every first Sunday, visitors lay out blankets on their lawn to enjoy great music, a picnic dinner, and wonderful wine. For its third year, Elk Cove hosts “Opera in the Vineyard,” in which the Portland Opera will give a performance following a special reception that includes a wonderful menu of delicious small bites and of course, Opera cake. Their
grounds also provide a dramatic and picturesque setting for the Willamette Valley Chamber Music Festival.
The Soléna Estate brings two amazing dinners to Yamhill County. Fresh Maine Lobster complements their wines in an evening Lobster Boil, while carefully selected Pinot noirs are served at their delectable Le Cochon Pig Roast. The Anne Amie Vineyards brighten up an evening with stargazing at their “Planets & Pinot” event. Painting Class”, or mix relaxing yoga with wine tasting at the hour-long session. Saffron Fields Vineyard also offers a morning yoga in a serene Japanese garden with a light breakfast and mimosas.
